About the Role
The Corporate Derivatives Desk (CDD) is seeking an AI Specialist to support trade screening, record-keeping, and profitability/RWA management. This role is crucial for enhancing revenues sustainably with a focus on client strategy and capital optimization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in screening new transactions to ensure alignment with client strategy and defined return hurdles and capital efficiency targets.
- Support the CDD in considering future regulation, day-1 policy, and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) charges during the pricing process.
- Collaborate with Sales and Structuring teams on pricing requests, ensuring all relevant information is captured and analyzing transaction profitability and overall returns at both client and portfolio levels.
- Develop Front Office use cases where AI can improve trading, risk management, and franchise activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all corporate derivatives transactions.
- Assist in tracking and documenting decisions related to client documentation and capital deployment.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level (preferably in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Methods or a related discipline) or equivalent qualification and/or work experience.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of financial markets and derivatives products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks impacting financial products is a plus.
