About the Role
Director, Sales Transformation is a senior business leader responsible for identifying transformational business opportunities in Sales and Product, developing solutions at functional, user experience, and process levels, and managing changes to achieve business potential. This role requires strategic thinking, C-suite communication, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on delivery to accelerate growth in the inbound sales funnel.
Responsibilities
- Owning a defined business transformation domain across Sales and Product
- Developing a deep understanding of sales processes, customer journeys, product capabilities, and supporting technologies
- Identifying and articulating transformational opportunities, business needs, and commercial potential
- Creating process maps, business cases, roadmaps, and presentations to communicate proposed changes
- Building stakeholder alignment and gaining buy-in for the transformation vision
- Engaging with Sales leadership and senior stakeholders, clearly communicating product direction, progress, risks, and outcomes
- Leading and coordinating Agile teams supporting transformation initiatives
- Managing daily communication and delivery oversight with Product Owners and Technology teams
- Analysing business performance before and after changes, including conducting A/B testing, research, modelling, and AI-enabled analysis
- Partnering with Sales, Technology, Risk, Operations, Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Legal to deliver scalable inbound sales solutions
- Ensuring sales processes and customer journeys are aligned with regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements
- Using relevant data sources and systems, including Salesforce, Adobe, Credit Factory, internal tracking and processing systems, and data platforms
- Identifying process gaps and designing scalable improvements to existing processes
- Applying innovation, data, technology, and AI to improve sales processes, customer experience, and business outcomes
- Supporting the optimisation of sales technology platforms, including Salesforce, AWS, Adobe, Credit Factory, mobile applications, and AI tools
- Proactively identifying and resolving delivery risks, resource bottlenecks, stakeholder challenges, and business dependencies
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Analytics, Sales Operations, Business Transformation, or a related strategic role
- Proven experience delivering measurable business impact through product, process, or transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of inbound sales and digital processes, ideally within B2B financial services, payments, lending, or fintech
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of SQL
- Experience using data to identify opportunities, assess performance, and improve processes
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, product backlogs, and cross-functional technology delivery teams
- Experience working with Design and UX teams to improve customer journeys and user experiences
- Knowledge of credit application processes, KYC, and financial products
- Familiarity with sales and digital technology platforms, including Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, Credit Factory, mobile applications, and data platforms
- Proficiency in using LLM and AI tools, such as OpenAI and Claude, to develop product concepts, mock-ups, and user experiences
- Strong stakeholder-management, influencing, facilitation, and communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
- Proven ability to leading cross-functional teams and holding stakeholders accountable for delivery outcomes
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability managing multiple complex projects concurrently
- Relevant experience within financial services, payments, lending, or fintech preferred
