About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, tech-savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team and lead the charge in green logistics and tech-driven delivery. This role offers a clear routine and a company that invests in your future, ensuring every parcel reaches its destination with excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Utilize industry-leading Saturn handheld devices for tracking progress and managing deliveries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a positive and helpful delivery experience.
- Load and unload parcels using equipment such as sack barrows and hand trucks.
Requirements
- A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence.
- DQC/CPC accreditation.
- Ideally 6 months of recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
- Professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically active and comfortable with the lifting requirements of the job.
- Commitment to doing a good job and treating customers and colleagues with respect.
