About the Role

Step into a Manager role in our Audit & Assurance team in Sydney, where you'll lead complex audits across the Global and Private Market team and play an important role in client service, quality and team growth.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion, guiding teams through fieldwork, review and reporting while keeping quality and efficiency on track.
Identify risks early, make practical decisions as issues arise and ensure work is delivered in line with Deloitte's methodology and professional standards.
Build trust with stakeholders, keep engagements moving and help create a smooth experience from start to finish.
Balance delivery, communication and judgement to shape client outcomes and team performance.
Manage budgets, timelines and day-to-day engagement progress.
Create a strong team environment by reviewing work, coaching others and contributing to a culture where people are supported to grow while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit, with current experience at Manager level
Experience leading audit engagements and managing teams
A strong understanding of audit methodology, risk and professional standards
Proven ability to build and manage trusted client relationships
Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence reviewing work, giving feedback and developing others
Commercial awareness across engagement budgets, timelines and delivery
CA qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification
