About the Role
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN for their Bone Marrow Transplant unit. This role involves administering chemotherapy to patients, serving as a resource for patients, families, and staff, and educating nursing colleagues. The position offers an opportunity for shared clinical decision-making and supportive colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and other staff nurses.
- Provide education to nursing colleagues on chemotherapy administration and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient and family health.
Requirements
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in oncology.
- At least two years of experience in administering chemotherapy.
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
- BCLS certification.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
