About the Role

As a Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for the creation, planning, and delivery of outbound digital marketing campaigns across several brands. You will utilize marketing automation tools to optimize engagement and conversion with potential visitors, delegates, and exhibitors, supporting specific partnership objectives and aligning with overarching event goals. This role encourages a growth mindset, continuous testing, and learning to best engage customers, fostering collaboration and efficiency across event teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the marketing automation campaign strategy for assigned shows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging best practices.
  • Lead the design and execution of integrated, multi-channel campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Oversee segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies to maximize campaign performance.
  • Manage and mentor campaign executives, fostering growth and skill development.
  • Assign projects, set priorities, and ensure the timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to create a cohesive campaign strategy.
  • Support on complex automation programs and coach/develop Campaign Executives.
  • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for campaigns, regularly reviewing performance and making data-driven improvements.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership, showcasing campaign ROI and insights.
  • Oversee A/B testing strategies to optimize messaging, workflows, and conversions.
  • Optimize and recommend AI tools to improve performance and effectiveness of customer campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Define and enforce best practices for data management, email marketing, and automation workflows.
  • Work closely with sales teams to optimize lead scoring, routing, and follow-up processes.
  • Partner with data teams to refine audience segmentation and enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in marketing automation, with proven experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Expert-level knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex, data-driven campaign strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in the use of AI tools for enhancing campaign performance.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, events, or SaaS industries (Desirable).
  • Certification in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot Marketing Software, Marketo Certified Expert) (Desirable).
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML/CSS, or other technical skills to customize campaigns (Desirable).
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning tools to enhance campaign automation (Desirable).
