About the Role
Unique AI is building a generative AI platform for financial institutions, focusing on reliability, auditability, and security. The platform enables banks, asset managers, and hedge funds to use LLM-based agents for investment research, client advisory, risk, and compliance. The mission is to augment financial professionals by automating repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on judgment, clients, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Building and improving vertical use cases in the financial industry to unlock the full potential of GenAI for customers.
- Working closely with product and engineering teams to design, prototype, and develop AI Agents and systems that deliver real business impact.
- Engaging with clients to maximize platform value, providing hands-on support and expertise for smooth integration and adoption of GenAI solutions.
- Building AI Agents using the company's SDK.
- Participating in the internal AI Academy to rapidly enhance skills in LLM tooling and building production-grade AI agents and workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a data scientist.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, including tool calling, low-level experimentation beyond frameworks, and prompt engineering for customer use cases.
- Demonstrated experience in production GenAI delivery, including designing, deploying, operating, and evaluating LLM-based applications in production environments, with agentic systems featuring tool calling and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of AI systems and functionalities, such as deep research and applied AI techniques.
- Strong Python coding skills to translate AI concepts into production-ready workflows and maintain robust AI pipelines.
- Experience deploying multi-agent systems is ideal.
- History of successfully delivering projects for clients by translating customer requirements into tailored solutions.
- Expertise in financial services environments (private banking, wealth/asset management, insurance) is a plus.
- English language proficiency.
- French and/or German language proficiency is a plus.
