About the Role
The Occupier Services team is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) to support the delivery of a major corporate real estate portfolio, focusing on workplace, refurbishment, and capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple projects.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
- Manage procurement processes and tender evaluations.
- Administer construction contracts and monitor commercial risk.
- Review contractor applications, variations, and final accounts.
- Produce project cost reports and financial forecasts.
- Provide strategic cost advice to client stakeholders and project teams.
- Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Assist in the management of programme budgets across multiple sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements
- MRICS qualified.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Consultancy experience within the real estate, construction, or property sector.
- Strong experience delivering corporate occupier, commercial office, workplace, fit-out, or refurbishment projects.
- Excellent understanding of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
- Experience working within large-scale corporate real estate programmes.
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
