About the Role
ALBASPROSS gGmbH seeks a dedicated and creative individual to lead a girls' club at the Albrecht von Graefe School. The club aims to provide a safe and open space for girls to engage in activities based on their interests, fostering creativity, self-determination, and exchange.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, varied, and accessible activities that are fun and encourage participation.
- Create a safe space for girls to share their interests, experiences, and questions.
- Address and reflect on girl-specific topics such as identity, friendship, body image, gender roles, self-determination, relationships, and societal expectations.
- Bring a personal, reflective stance on gender-specific issues and critically question them with the group.
- Flexibly adapt activities and content to the needs, interests, and dynamics of the group.
- Work in a racism-sensitive and discrimination-critical manner, making diverse life realities visible.
- Develop awareness of the importance of social background, class, financial means, and different family situations, integrating them into pedagogical work.
- Create low-threshold access for all girls, regardless of prior experience, skills, or social situation.
- Strengthen participants' self-efficacy, self-confidence, and individual development.
Requirements
- Experience working with adolescents in socially challenging situations.
- Openness, interest, and enthusiasm for working with young people.
- Implementation of equal opportunities and fair participation.
- Confident demeanor and strong cooperation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High degree of responsibility, reliability, loyalty, and self-organization.
- Interest in a long-term perspective with ALBA BERLIN.
- Good German language skills for effective communication and support in the school day.
- Proof of measles immunity (if born after 1970) or medical contraindication certificate.
- Extended police clearance certificate (not older than three months).
