About the Role

As a Senior RME Technician, you will help Amazon stay ahead of the curve by utilizing the latest technologies and identifying new, efficient work methods. You will pay close attention to our processes, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of our highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

Best practice and support in operating equipment and systems with the highest safety standards.
Track equipment performance through visual inspections, condition-based monitoring, and preventive maintenance, scheduling additional maintenance as needed.
Lead the technical team during their shift, providing support and development.
Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and ensure the fastest possible package processing.
Support continuous improvement of systems and standardization of processes across the EU network.

Requirements

Completed technical vocational training recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts (HWK), or proof of a successfully completed university degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical or related) from a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B.Sc., MA, M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.).
Additionally, completed qualification as an industrial foreman, master craftsman, or state-certified technician, or several years of relevant professional experience.
Practical experience in leading teams.
Experience in automation and maintenance of conveyor systems.
Advanced German language skills (written and spoken) and basic English language skills.
Experience in managing external companies.
Understanding of PLC-based control systems and legal compliance requirements.
Experience using computer-aided maintenance management systems to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive measures.
University degree, preferably in a technical field or business administration.
