About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you'll help build, deliver, and operate technology solutions for one of Europe's leading airlines. Working within an agile engineering squad, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to turn business priorities into reliable, scalable software solutions. This hands-on role involves contributing across the full software development lifecycle, taking ownership of technical challenges, and developing your expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and support production software.
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Build and support applications using AWS, .NET, and Java technologies.
Contribute to technical design discussions and implementation activities.
Investigate defects, troubleshoot issues, and support production systems.
Improve software quality through code reviews, testing, observability, and reliability practices.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering colleagues to deliver valuable solutions.
Contribute to engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.
Use AI-assisted engineering tools thoughtfully to improve development effectiveness and software quality.

Requirements

Commercial software engineering experience within a modern technology environment.
Strong experience developing applications using .NET and/or Java.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS.
Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architectures.
Confidence working with shared codebases, automated testing, and code review processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and cloud-based development workflows.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.
Interest in AI-assisted engineering tools and emerging software development practices.
