About the Role

The Collaborative Partnerships Programme Lead – Hospitality and Event Management will provide academic oversight and quality assurance for franchised Hospitality and Event Management programmes delivered through collaborative partners. This role ensures programmes align with University academic regulations, quality standards, and partnership agreements, acting as the primary academic liaison between ULaw and partner institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide academic oversight of an allocated portfolio of collaborative Hospitality and Event Management programmes.
  • Act as the principal academic contact between ULaw and partner Course Leaders.
  • Support the mobilisation of new programmes and cohorts, identifying risks and escalating issues.
  • Monitor and analyse student continuation, progression, completion, assessment outcomes, attendance, engagement, satisfaction, graduate outcomes, and B3 metrics.
  • Support the delivery of an outstanding student experience by monitoring student feedback and working with partner staff to improve engagement.
  • Review complaints.
  • Work collaboratively with partner Course Leaders, Module Leaders, External Examiners, and Programme Directors to ensure effective partnership delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience of leading modules or programmes within Higher Education.
  • Experience of quality assurance processes and assessment/moderation.
  • Experience of working within Hospitality, Event Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience of collaborative partnerships within Higher Education.
  • Experience of curriculum development.
  • Experience of analysing student performance data.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Innovative, self-starter with a high level of personal motivation.
  • Flexible and prepared to be hands-on when required.
  • Must be able to prove the right to work in the UK.
