About the Role
This seasonal role offers a fantastic opportunity to get to know The Works and potentially build a longer-term career. You will be at the heart of creating magical shopping experiences during the holiday season, helping customers find the perfect gifts and festive treats.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the store and start conversations.
- Understand customer needs and recommend gifts and products.
- Manage deliveries and seasonal stock.
- Assist with merchandising by following planograms and creatively merchandising non-planogrammed spaces.
- Manage heavy deliveries, price and label products, and sort items onto shop floor displays.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized stockroom.
- Create a magical Christmas shopping experience for customers.
- Spread joy with friendly service and inspire customers.
- Help customers get the most value for their money.
- Support colleagues during the busiest season.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable managing stairs and heavy stock.
- Ability to work during the holiday season.
- Willingness to get stuck in and stay active.
- Ability to turn your hand to various tasks as the day requires.
