About the Role
As a Finance Lead, you will actively develop Finance, take responsibility, and create sustainable structures with your team. You will provide technical and personal development for the team, drive processes and structures, and act as a sparring partner for management on commercial and strategic issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership, development, and motivation for the Finance team.
- Assume overall responsibility for ongoing processes in finance and accounting, and manage monthly and annual financial statements.
- Take responsibility for budget planning, forecasts, and liquidity management.
- Prepare and develop financial reports, analyses, and relevant KPIs, and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- Act as a sparring partner for management on commercial and strategic issues.
- Analyze cost developments, deviations, and economic correlations, and derive appropriate measures.
- Take responsibility for office management, and organize and optimize administrative processes at the location.
- Further develop, standardize, and optimize finance and administrative processes.
- Identify and implement automation and digitalization potentials within the Finance department.
- Serve as the central point of contact for external partners such as tax advisors and auditors.
- Collaborate closely with other departments and participate in cross-departmental and strategic projects.
Requirements
- Completed degree or comparable education in Finance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in leading and developing employees, ideally already at a senior level.
- Very good knowledge of finance and accounting.
- Good understanding of controlling and corporate management.
- Experience with monthly and annual financial statements, as well as budget and forecast processes.
- Confident handling of financial figures and the ability to present complex correlations understandably.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- High sense of responsibility, as well as an independent and reliable work style.
- Enjoy questioning existing processes, developing them further, and building new structures.
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor with various internal and external contacts.
