About the Role

As the Principal Innovation Hub Solution Engineer for App Innovation, you will leverage deep subject matter expertise in AI Foundry, GitHub/GitHub Copilot, CI/CD Pipelines, and Python to translate complex business processes into design systems that provide meaningful business value for customers. You will merge business and technical requirements to craft comprehensive solutions, working seamlessly with various stakeholders. This role involves conducting discovery sessions, providing strategic recommendations, implementing AI transformation solutions, and optimizing technology integration. You will also foster collaboration among technical resources and stakeholders using consultancy skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver technical engagements including strategy sessions, envisioning workshops, architecture design sessions and rapid prototyping.
• Be the trusted voice within the business and for customers on the latest AI platform and technology trends, guiding their transformation journeys.
• Prioritize AI use cases through design thinking workshops.
• Own and execute a clear strategic vision for AI transformation initiatives on a set of targeted accounts.
• Develop comprehensive solution architectures based on patterns and practices that are tied to customer requirements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and optimized for performance.
• Uncover and prioritize opportunities using consultation skills, ensuring solutions address real customer needs.
• Integrate capabilities across the entire cloud platform, identifying synergies and optimizing cross-platform integration.
• Maintain and grow expertise in AI solutions including services like AI Foundry or Fabric Data platform.
• Develop skills in AI management and security, real-time intelligence, and application architecture.
• Stay updated with market trends and collaborate within technical communities.
• Act as a strategic change agent within the business to shape Microsoft's programs and engineering offerings.
• Lead the creation of scalable, field-relevant assets through internal communities.
• Connect technical capabilities to sales opportunities and serve as a trusted voice with sales leaders and account teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship.
• 5+ years experience as a Solutions Architect (or equivalent) including deep practical and hands-on experience with software architecture and development.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, designing and implementing large-scale, complex solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Ability to integrate various technologies and platforms to create cohesive and scalable architectures.
• Proven experience in a consultancy role, providing expert guidance and strategic recommendations to customers.
• Ability to navigate complex technical landscapes and deliver tailored solutions that meet specific customer needs.
• Validated customer experience in requirements capture; prioritization; capturing evidence and impact to quantify business value; issue, risk and constraint identification with a focus on strategic goals and outcomes.
• Expertise in designing architectures, building, and deploying AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, networking, adjacent technologies, architecture designs, migrations, and industry standards.
• Understanding of AI related Azure services.
• Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines.
• Proven experience of delivering design thinking; ‘ideation’; or similar context analysis / problem framing.
• Highly proficient in GitHub, CI/CD and DevOps automation.
• Proficiency in Python or other equivalent programming language.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Agentic AI development.

• USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year (U.S. typical base pay range)
• USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year (New York City metropolitan area base pay range)
