About the Role
Manage the Gallery's academic programs and tertiary-sector partnerships, translating scholarly research into high-quality public engagement that supports exhibitions, collections and strategic priorities. Develop and manage complex stakeholder relationships, identify opportunities for partnership and funding growth, and advance research, evaluation and knowledge exchange across the Gallery and the tertiary sector.

- Oversee staff, contractors or collaborators to deliver high-quality public or academic programs.
- Translate Visual Arts and education research into high quality public engagement that supports exhibitions, collections and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent Visual Arts professional experience in academic, cultural or museum-based programs.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering academic programs within a Visual Arts context, including exhibition-related symposia, lectures or research-informed learning initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and partnerships, including effective collaboration with universities and tertiary institutions, researchers and senior stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing staff, contractors or collaborators to deliver high-quality public or academic programs.
- Experience using project management software and organisational or museum-specific databases and systems.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including facilitating discussions, negotiating with partners, presenting to public and academic audiences, and contributing to funding proposals or business cases.
