About the Role
Town is building a community function to support users who create and use software with their AI assistant. This role will focus on fostering user engagement, facilitating knowledge sharing, and translating community output into valuable resources for other departments.
Responsibilities
- Own Town's community strategy end to end, including audience selection and program execution.
- Integrate Town into existing user communities.
- Build the peer-learning engine by identifying and distributing valuable user-created content.
- Grow the online community by setting the tone, seeding discussions, and ensuring peer support.
- Create and manage an events calendar, including show-and-tells, builder nights, workshops, and dinners.
- Represent Town at relevant AI events.
- Translate community output into go-to-market (GTM) materials, such as user-built routines, workflows, and stories.
- Liaise with Product and Support teams to relay community feedback and feature requests.
- Define and measure community success metrics, including touchpoints, activation, retention, and adoption.
- Collaborate with Content Marketing and Product Marketing Management on product launches.
- Partner with Content Marketing and PMM on launches — community's job before, during, and after every ship.
Requirements
- Experience in community, customer marketing, or event marketing.
- Proven track record of running programs independently.
- Experience building programs, communities, or conference tracks from inception.
- Proficiency as an AI power user, with experience building workflows using agents or automation tools.
- Ability to improve user setups on the spot.
- Strong and rapid writing skills with an engaging tone.
- Experience managing event logistics, including venues, catering, and run-of-show.
- Comfortable owning metrics and thinking in terms of data.
- Ability to proactively find work and follow through without constant supervision.
