Responsibilities
- Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find items, resolving issues, and thanking them.
- Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
- Work with HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs.
- Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates.
- Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning.
- Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
- Be approachable and available to listen to team members and collaborate with leaders to take action.
- Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption.
- Support leader in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk.
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Work in a safe manner at all times, comply with safety policies, and report hazards.
Requirements
- Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members.
- Thrive in a fast-moving, highly active, and physically demanding role.
- Possess teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Be open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times).
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
- Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
- Be capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
- Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts, and take required breaks.
