About the Role
Quantum Pain and Orthopedic is seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to diagnose and treat injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, focusing on all extremities. The role involves performing surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures to repair injuries and correct deformities of the extremities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal conditions affecting the extremities
- Develop treatment plans and provide non-surgical treatments such as medication, physical therapy, and injections
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Surgical assist guaranteed
- Support staff available including NP/PA’s, MA’s, and scribe team
- Work in an outpatient clinic with ambulatory surgical centers nearby
- No call schedules
- Handle a high volume of referrals per month
- Travel as necessary to other facilities between San Antonio and Austin locations
Requirements
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Extremity Surgery preferred
- Valid Texas state medical license
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Working Schedule Monday – Friday
