About the Role
As an Oncology Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be selling GE HealthCare’s PET Imaging Agent (Cerianna). This is a multi-faceted role with multiple call points and strategic priorities, focusing on PET Imaging Centers, PET technologists, Radiology Management, Radiologists, Supply Chain, Medical Oncologists, Breast Surgeons, and pharmacy partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-faceted territory plan, partnering with hospitals/imaging centers to offer imaging services utilizing Cerianna.
- Position Cerianna as a molecular imaging diagnostic PET agent for recurrent or metastatic ER+ breast cancer.
- Identify top referring healthcare providers, foster relationships, and impact decision-making criteria to increase Cerianna awareness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to imaging centers and referrers to unlock opportunities and remove barriers to ordering Cerianna.
- Collaborate with reimbursement market access support teams to optimize payor contract implementation and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with pharmacy channel partners to meet customer product delivery goals.
- Conduct pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs, craft solutions, and drive utilization.
- Monitor territory plan performance and collaborate on next steps with cross-functional partners.
- Utilize virtual selling and cold calling to engage new and existing targets.
- Manage pricing strategy, price negotiation, contract management, and ensure pricing compliance.
- Forecast orders and sales for the assigned territory and submit weekly progress reports.
- Represent the company at healthcare conferences and seminars.
- Understand Imaging Center/Hospital department goals, needs, workflow, and financial expectations related to PET imaging.
- Coordinate with Strategic Account Managers on broader healthcare system strategies to drive demand and remove access barriers for Cerianna.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or valid and current certification through the NMTCB or AART.
- 3+ years of sales experience or relevant experience in a medical, healthcare, technical, pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences field.
- Experience selling into hospitals, contracting, and supply chain or relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of sales success, including developing/implementing sales plans, exceeding sales targets, and penetrating new accounts/markets.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives while operating in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Demonstrated communication skills, analytical skills, and Nuclear Medicine/PET/pharmaceutical industry acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Willingness to reside in the territory.
- Willingness and ability to perform 50% overnight travel.
