About the Role
GVC II is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Paratransit Quality Control Specialist to support daily fleet readiness and yard operations. This hands-on role offers valuable transportation experience with opportunities for career growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Fuel, inspect, and reposition paratransit vehicles
- Maintain accurate fuel, inventory, and variance records
- Check vehicles for visible damage and report concerns
- Inspect tires, fluids, supplies, and general vehicle condition
- Clean vehicles and help ensure they are ready for service
- Maintain clean and organized yard, fueling, and building areas
- Respond to spills and follow established safety procedures
- Communicate vehicle, maintenance, supply, and safety issues to the appropriate team
- Support other fleet, yard, and facility-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to perform physical and hands-on work throughout the shift
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Interest in developing a career in transportation, fleet maintenance, or operations
- English proficiency required for training, safety communications, company policies, and other job-related communications.
