About the Role

The Alpha ABOR (Accounting Book of Records) service team provides clients and external stakeholders with essential financial tools for investment solutions, including accounting, fund administration, and operations servicing for alternative assets. Our products empower clients to make informed investment decisions and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client satisfaction by collaborating with internal/external operations teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Understand client needs and agreed deliverables, working with local and international teams to achieve common goals.
  • Support service delivery for Account Book of Record (ABOR) data and look-through data for Alternative Funds, disclosing underlying investments in client-specific formats.
  • Ensure all deliverables for responsible clients are met on time and with high quality.
  • Execute internal/external audits in coordination with the team and HZ operations.
  • Respond to client queries promptly and appropriately, working with internal/external operations teams and relationship managers to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, proactively identifying client needs and addressing potential issues that could impact satisfaction.
  • Prepare materials and participate in periodic KPI/service review meetings.
  • Demonstrate adherence to risk and compliance culture and maintain the highest integrity to earn client trust.
  • Suggest service enhancements based on understanding client needs.
  • Provide enhanced services by working effectively with internal/external operations teams and building strong relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in a data management role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
  • Team player capable of working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and financial operations.
  • Bachelor/Graduate Degree from University.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent business understanding of trustee and alternative fund service.
  • Working knowledge of trustee and alternative fund service.
  • Highly organized, attentive to detail, driven, and able to work independently.
  • Experience working in trustee and alternative fund service, or Barra/Aladdin data management.
  • Effective at collaborating across large global organizations to find knowledge and solutions for client queries and issues.
