About the Role
Nimbus Health is seeking Occupational Therapists in the northern suburbs of Sydney to join their dynamic team and help deliver high-quality services to clients. The role involves providing occupational therapy services in the community, utilizing clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice, and collaborating with patient care teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in the community to clients receiving funding such as the Support at Home Program, Short Term Restorative Care, and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme
- Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
- Continually review current processes with an eye for improvements, including updating the team wiki with best practice
- Work and communicate with patient's care team, including other allied health professionals and care advisers
- Prepare training and educational materials for partner organisations
Requirements
- Genuinely care for clients and want to make each experience memorable
- Bachelor Degree of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Evidence of COVID-19 and flu vaccination
- A valid Australian driver's license
- Regular access to a car
- A positive attitude and strong desire to make a difference
- Located in the northern suburbs of Sydney
