About the Role
Raio Dental Hicksville is seeking an experienced General Dentist to deliver comprehensive general dentistry and build strong relationships with a diverse patient base. Previous Medicaid experience is required, and candidates should be comfortable with the documentation, treatment planning, and patient needs of a practice serving both Medicaid and PPO populations.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Provide restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, and bridges
- Perform extractions and endodontic treatment based on experience and clinical comfort
- Provide emergency dental care
- Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and recommended care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with hygienists, dental assistants, specialists, and practice leadership
- Maintain efficient patient flow while providing quality, patient-centered care
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active New York dental license in good standing
- Previous Medicaid experience required
- Strong comprehensive general dentistry skills
- Confidence treatment planning for a diverse patient population
- Strong patient communication and case-presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within an established clinical team
- DEA Registration (or ability to obtain)
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Experience practicing in Medicaid environments
