About the Role

Seeking a developer/DevOps profile focused on building and exposing APIs according to solid, standards-compliant implementation. The role involves implementing APIs to defined specifications on the APIGee platform, adhering to internal API standards and TM Forum (TMF) standards.

Responsibilities

Design and implement APIs on the APIGee platform in line with Optus's internal API standards and TM Forum (TMF) standards.
Support productization of deliverables.
Work within API standards defined (e.g. TMF Open APIs, CAMARA), implementing to agreed specifications rather than defining new architecture.
Collaborate with the broader platform teams (including the OpenShift migration workstream) as needed.

Requirements

Development experience with API design and implementation (REST/similar), including exposure to TM Forum (TMF) Open API standards and CAMARA.
DevOps/CI-CD familiarity to support build and deployment of API services.
Working knowledge of platform environments such as Kubernetes/OpenShift is beneficial.
Ability to work to defined API/architecture standards and specifications with moderate guidance.
Telecom/OSS domain exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
