About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Lead Software Engineer to drive the evolution of our Insights platform, focusing on modern client-facing web applications, cloud-native architecture, and Generative UI/UX capabilities. This role is key to transforming how research products are designed, delivered, and consumed with dynamic, interactive, and AI-enabled user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of modern, enterprise-grade, client-facing research platforms for financial research products
- Drive the transformation of the Insights platform toward cloud-native, scalable, and highly interactive experiences
- Champion the adoption of Generative UI/UX patterns, enabling dynamic and personalized research delivery
- Design end-to-end solutions across frontend applications, backend services, and data and analytics platforms
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and production-ready architectures
- Partner with research, product, and business stakeholders to shape innovative, client-centric solutions
- Integrate advanced capabilities such as Data Visualization, Data Analytics, and Generative AI / Generative UI features
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to global engineering teams, ensuring high standards of design, performance, and maintainability
- Drive engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native development
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on technology strategy and platform evolution
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade, client-facing web applications or platforms
- Strong expertise in cloud-native (AWS) architecture, including microservices, distributed systems, API-first design, and event-driven architecture
- Deep hands-on experience across modern frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue) for building highly performant, interactive, data-driven user interfaces
- Strong backend engineering experience using technologies such as Python, Java, Node.js, or similar, with scalable service design and data processing pipelines
- Experience working with data and analytics platforms, including visualization and large-scale data handling
- Exposure to or experience with Machine Learning and/or Generative AI (LLMs) and their practical application in products
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
