About the Role
The Senior Inclusion Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of organization-wide diversity and inclusion frameworks, strategies, programs, and initiatives. This role provides expert, evidence-based advice, builds organizational capability, and influences leaders and stakeholders to embed inclusive, culturally safe, and equitable workplace practices that support FRNSW strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of organization-wide diversity and inclusion frameworks, strategies, programs, and initiatives.
- Provide expert, evidence-based advice on diversity and inclusion.
- Build organizational capability in diversity and inclusion.
- Influence leaders and stakeholders to embed inclusive, culturally safe, and equitable workplace practices.
Requirements
- Aboriginality is an essential requirement of this role. Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in diversity and inclusion, organizational development, human resources, social policy, or a related discipline.
- Willingness and ability to travel in accordance with operational requirements.
Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design, implementation, and review of diversity and inclusion strategies, frameworks, policies, programs, and services that influence organizational culture, systems, and workforce practices.
- Well-developed knowledge of contemporary diversity and inclusion practice.
- Strong cultural capability.
- Ability to engage respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, diverse communities, employee networks, and stakeholders to improve inclusive workplace practices.

Salary/Compensations
- Package up to $166,549 pa (includes salary range $133,348 pa to $146,945 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading)
- Non-Station Based Team Leader: At rank plus 20% allowance
