About the Role
This position supports M&A deals for growth strategy realization, covering everything from strategy formulation to deal execution and PMI. You will drive value creation from strategic, financial, and operational perspectives for critical management issues such as corporate acquisitions, business divestitures, and organizational restructuring. This role involves providing advisory services to diverse domestic and international clients across various industries to achieve corporate transformation.
Responsibilities
- Formulate M&A strategy and business portfolio strategy.
- Analyze and evaluate target companies and businesses.
- Conduct business due diligence.
- Plan synergy creation and value enhancement measures.
- Plan and support the execution of PMI.
- Support business carve-out and organizational restructuring projects.
- Promote and support the advancement of M&A processes using digital technology and generative AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience in management strategy planning, business process improvement, or M&A-related projects at a consulting firm.
- Experience in M&A deals and capital markets related work at an investment bank.
- Experience in transaction-related work at a financial advisory service (FAS) or auditing firm.
- Experience in corporate planning, business planning, financial planning, or M&A promotion at a business company.
- Experience in PMI, organizational restructuring, or business portfolio reform projects.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in creating proposal documents and presentations for management.
- Ability to coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Business communication skills in Japanese.
