About the Role
We are hiring our first dedicated Quality Manager to own and build PulseForge's integrated management system. This is an architect role where you will design, implement, and certify our quality management system to ISO 9001, establish the path to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and stand up supplier-quality and product-compliance disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrated management system, including quality manual, process architecture, document control, and internal audit program to ISO 9001:2015, with a designed-in path for 14001/45001.
- Execute certification by engaging with the registrar through Stage 1/Stage 2 on the committed timeline.
- Manage a team of three (Quality Control Lead and inspection staff), ensuring functional independence.
- Oversee supplier quality, including vendor qualification, corrective actions, and incoming quality standards.
- Manage the product compliance portfolio, covering RoHS, CE marking, UL 508/508A, and SEMI S2/S8.
- Implement quality analytics, including CAPA/8D discipline, first-pass-yield and quality-alert metrics, and management review.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive quality leadership in capital equipment, electronics, or semiconductor-adjacent manufacturing.
- Experience leading an organization through an ISO 9001 certification (Stage 1/Stage 2 with a registrar).
- Internal auditor training (lead auditor preferred).
- Working command of CAPA, 8D, and core quality tools.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Employment eligibility may be contingent on the Company's ability to obtain required export control authorizations.
