About the Role

We are seeking a senior-level Windows and Digital Workspace Engineer to design, modernize, and operate enterprise Windows platforms and digital workspace services. This role emphasizes senior Windows engineering skills, supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365 Cloud PC, automation, and persona-based workspace tooling. The engineer will partner with various teams to engineer reliable Windows desktop standards, modern endpoint configurations, secure baseline policies, and digital workspace services.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and support enterprise digital workspace solutions for secure and reliable access to applications, desktops, data, and collaboration tools.
Lead engineering efforts for enterprise Windows 11 platforms, including Autopilot image design, build standards, device configuration, policy management, security baselines, patching, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
Engineer and optimize Azure VMware Solution environments for enterprise virtual desktop and application workloads.
Integrate Windows 365 Cloud PC environments with enterprise Windows engineering standards, secure configuration baselines, and application compatibility requirements.
Develop and maintain persona-driven workspace models aligning technology configurations, desktop experiences, and security controls to user group needs.
Create and maintain automation using PowerShell, infrastructure-as-code, APIs, and workflow tools for provisioning, image management, application delivery, and operational support.
Engineer solutions for application integration, profile management, FSLogix, identity-based access, endpoint configuration, and user experience optimization.
Establish engineering standards, documentation, monitoring practices, security baselines, compliance controls, and operational processes for digital workspace platforms.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in senior Windows engineering, enterprise endpoint engineering, virtualization, EUC, VDI, or digital workspace engineering roles.
Deep hands-on expertise with Windows 11 engineering, including image creation and maintenance, Windows Autopilot, Intune, Group Policy, security baselines, patching, driver management, application compatibility, troubleshooting, and endpoint lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience and supporting Windows 365 Cloud PC services.
Strong understanding of Microsoft digital workspace and Windows platform technologies including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Windows 11, Windows Autopilot, FSLogix, Microsoft 365, image management, application packaging, endpoint configuration, policy management, and enterprise security controls.
Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Terraform, ARM/Bicep, APIs, or similar automation and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
Experience defining persona-based workspace models, user experience standards, desktop performance requirements, and operational processes for large-scale enterprise user populations.
Excellent communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical engineering solutions.
