About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Communications & Content Manager who loves both telling the story and making the story happen: writing the email, creating the social post, capturing the photo or video, and building the campaign. Working across JCP’s programs and departments, you’ll own JCP’s day-to-day communications while helping move several major initiatives forward.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling content across email, social, web, print, photography, video, and reels.
- Manage social media, email marketing, website content and optimization, digital campaigns, and the editorial calendar.
- Support the rollout of JCP’s refreshed brand across the organization.
- Play a key role in JCP’s upcoming website redesign, focusing on content, structure, storytelling, and user experience.
- Help develop and implement an audience segmentation strategy using CRM data.
- Partner with teams across the organization to surface stories, plan campaigns, and capture key events and community moments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of communications, marketing, content, or related experience.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Experience creating and managing social, email, and digital content.
- Strong visual instincts and comfort creating visual content.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Comfort with CRMs, CMS platforms, and digital analytics.
- Experience in a nonprofit, community, education, or Jewish organization is helpful but not required.
