About the Role

This role focuses on proactively managing sales opportunities for ACA's Regulatory Compliance business unit, requiring a deep understanding of the financial services industry, regulatory compliance, and the competitive landscape. The position also involves collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the regulatory environment, including SEC focus areas, examination outcomes, enforcement actions, and rule proposals.
  • Build relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to compliance and regulatory buyers.
  • Assess, evaluate, and propose technical solutions based on client needs.
  • Present ACA’s offerings, services, and pricing to prospects and clients.
  • Receive opportunities from Account Executives and manage them to closure.
  • Negotiate engagement terms with prospects and clients.
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the sales process.
  • Analyze the sales process to identify improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Gather insights from the commercial team regarding client interactions, service/product challenges, and industry trends to refine commercial strategies.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify additional market opportunities for ACA products and services.
  • Partner with ACA executives on business development priorities and key sales initiatives.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

Requirements

  • Master’s and/or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in client success, account management or a related role.

  • Compliance industry experience or passion.
  • Understanding of industry, market, and competitive landscape within ACA products/services.
  • Independent, highly motivated, and able to multi-task effectively.
  • Organized, proactive, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intellectually curious and a fast learner.
  • Client presentation experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
