About the Role

You will own the core design and generation experience, which is central to the product. This role requires deep focus on the core functionality and the ability to expand scope as needed. Your primary goal is to ensure skeptical, non-technical fashion designers experience a "magic" moment with the product in their first session and continue to do so.

Responsibilities

  • Own the core generation and design workflow end to end.
  • Define "good output" for users and establish evaluation methods to track product improvement.
  • Design for trust, enabling non-technical users to understand when to rely on the model and ensuring variability is handled gracefully.
  • Balance the needs of both everyday creatives and directors who sign contracts.
  • Conduct user interviews, competitive teardowns, and extensive dogfooding.
  • Translate insights from discovery into rapid product launches.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate extremely high ownership, proactively identifying and addressing needs.
  • Ability to navigate and overcome challenges such as limited resources, missing data, or difficult stakeholders.
  • Possess strong product sense, combining aesthetic judgment with workflow empathy.
  • Exhibit systems thinking to understand the broader impact of features.
  • Employ first-principles thinking, grounding decisions in user needs and the nature of the medium.
  • Be fluent in or a fast learner of probabilistic systems, thinking in terms of distributions and evaluations.
  • Show resilience and creativity when working under constraints typical of an early-stage startup.
  • Be AI-native in work style, comfortable using AI tools for research, prototyping, and execution.
  • Be data-driven, defining product metrics, using quantitative and qualitative evidence, and comfortable with Amplitude.
  • 3–5 years of product experience with a track record of shipping meaningful products and achieving measurable outcomes.
