About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Armed Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and employees. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and professionalism in handling difficult situations.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or other illegal activities
- Ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises by enforcing security policies and procedures
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements
- Valid security certificate/license
- Firearm permit required
- Proven experience in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
- Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is a plus
- Must be 21+ to apply
