About the Role
Harris Healthcare is integrating AI into its core operations across 25+ software businesses. The AI Innovation Specialist will collaborate with the VP of AI Innovation on prototyping, enablement, and direct partnership with business units, ideal for individuals experienced in building with AI at scale within a large organization.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered prototypes to solve business unit problems, moving from concept to demo rapidly.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate software delivery and showcase possibilities to engineering and product teams.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities and develop concrete projects.
- Lead and co-facilitate workshops to enhance AI understanding across the organization.
- Document successful approaches, share findings, and assist teams in establishing repeatable AI practices.
- Contribute to the development of Harris's AI maturity framework and associated tools.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical, product, or innovation-adjacent role.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience building with AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT, Cursor).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Proven ability to follow through on commitments and be reliable.
- A positive attitude, bringing energy to ambiguous situations and improving team dynamics.
- Healthcare or enterprise software background is a plus.
