About the Role
As a Senior Strategic Account Executive for US HOKA, you will lead the Department Store channel, including Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. You will drive long-term management and strategic revenue growth, build strong relationships with key buying and planning teams, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across merchandising, planning, marketing, operations, finance, and customer service. Your strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and collaborative approach will help shape the future of HOKA in the department store landscape.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute seasonal and annual business strategies for the Department Store channel, setting sales targets and developing growth plans.
- Analyze sales, margin, inventory productivity, sell-in, sell-through, and marketplace trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Deliver compelling business reviews and strategic presentations to internal leadership and external partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key buying, planning, and merchandising partners.
- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to accounts while advocating for HOKA’s brand objectives.
- Utilize retail math and analytical skills to develop forecasts, budgets, assortment plans, and inventory strategies.
- Leverage data to make informed business decisions and provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner closely with go-to-market, merchandising, planning, marketing, operations, finance, and customer service teams to execute business priorities.
- Drive sustainable and profitable growth within the Department Store channel, managing investment strategies and pursuing innovative opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience.
- 5+ years of wholesale or buying experience within a regionally based role and/or Key Accounts.
- Strong understanding of the Department Store business and broader retail marketplace.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proven ability to lead strategic account relationships and influence key decision makers.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities and advanced understanding of retail math and key performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to build forecasts, budgets, and business plans utilizing Excel and other analytical tools.
- Self-motivated, highly accountable, and driven to consistently exceed goals.
- Collaborative team player with a track record of building strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance growth opportunities and profitability.
- High emotional intelligence and excels in navigating complex business environments.
- Innovative thinker who challenges the status quo and identifies opportunities beyond the obvious.
- Department Store experience preferred.
