About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs, performing the duties of combination painter in all phases of painting and wall covering on all areas of the property.
- Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on painted and papered surfaces and systems throughout the property.
- Complete all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbooks.
- Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to operate conventional and/or airless spray equipment as required.
- Prepare surface to be painted, paint and install wall covering, adjust paint to proper color as necessary, patch, tape and texture and acoustic as necessary.
- Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Keep informed and updated on current technical methods.
- Advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property.
- Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment.
- Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention.
- Able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.).
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience.
Skills
- Ability to operate conventional and/or airless spray equipment.
