About the Role
This role involves leading a team responsible for coordinating the daily surgical schedule, ensuring accuracy, and making necessary changes. You will mentor and train new employees, provide input on team performance, and serve as a resource for resolving complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of staff doing the same work.
- Assigns daily tasks to other members of the team, providing oversight and support as necessary.
- Performs most complex tasks or procedures.
- Mentors and trains new employees to help them reach the standards of the department.
- Provides input regarding team members’ performances, recommending disciplinary action when required.
- Serves as a resource to staff and collaborating departments in resolving complex issues and by providing technical skills.
- Coordinates the daily surgical schedule with the Chief of Anesthesiology ensuring accuracy and making changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience in OR administrative environment required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

- Rochester, NY
Work Type
- Full Time
- Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, No weekends
Experience Level
- 6 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in business, social sciences, human resources, or equivalent preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $18.00 - $23.00
