About the Role

Interns will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Programming and related Festival Relations departments, gaining essential knowledge of the independent film industry. This is an incredible opportunity to be immersed in the world of independent film.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day functions of the Programming and related Festival Relations departments.
  • Assist the Programming Department with various administrative duties and assorted relevant projects.
  • Perform database entry.
  • Respond to general Festival inquiries.
  • Conduct film and film-related industry research.
  • Duties and responsibilities will increase as the Festival approaches.
  • Be available to participate during the 2027 Tribeca Festival.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old by Festival dates.
  • Must be a college student or recent graduate ('24 - '26).
  • Must be available to participate during the 2027 Tribeca Festival.
  • Must be available to work from October 2026 until the completion of the 2027 Tribeca Festival.
  • Must be computer literate (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Suite).
  • Must be internet savvy and phone friendly.
  • Must be detail-oriented, dedicated, and energetic.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communications skills.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong knowledge regarding general office duties.
  • Must be experienced with computer database software (e.g., FileMaker Pro).
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking.
  • Must be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Must complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
