About the Role
Lead internal audit, risk and control transformation engagements from planning through to delivery, helping clients protect their brand, strengthen decision-making, and build confidence in critical systems and processes. Contribute to outcomes supporting boards, executives, and risk leaders across large and complex organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal audit, risk and control transformation engagements from planning through to delivery.
- Bring structured problem solving, sound judgement, and a sharp focus on quality to engagements.
- Work spans governance and risk frameworks, operating model design, assurance automation, and emerging focus areas such as Agile IA, integrated assurance and risk culture.
- Facilitate workshops and develop proposals.
- Coach junior team members.
- Contribute to the growth of the practice.
Requirements
- Experience in internal audit, advisory or consulting environments.
- Strong capability in reviewing, designing or implementing governance, risk or control frameworks.
- Experience delivering reports, proposals and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Confidence facilitating workshops that are interactive, client-centred and action-focused.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including making complex ideas simple.
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant professional accreditation would be valuable.
