About the Role

This internship offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and support various internal projects, gaining hands-on experience in management consulting and process improvement within a dynamic and growing boutique consulting firm.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects alongside Management Consultants, working directly with clients.
  • Engage in projects such as optimizing supply chains, enhancing IT strategies, deploying change management, project management, and executing strategic plans.
  • Gather and interpret data to produce actionable insights that influence business decisions.
  • Craft compelling presentations to communicate insights and strategies to internal teams and clients.
  • Support internal initiatives like process improvement within the firm and the Purpose Beyond Profit non-profit initiative.
  • Contribute to TPG’s growth through internal initiatives in marketing, sales development, or other areas of interest.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an Industrial Engineering or Engineering Science Degree, with 3rd-year coursework completed by the start of the internship.
  • Relevant work experience (highlight previous co-op roles, part-time roles, extracurricular activities, and volunteer work).
  • Results-driven with a high capacity for learning, receiving feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates disciplined time management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, understands sense of urgency, and eager to contribute meaningfully.

Skills

  • Impeccable communication skills, including strong, clear, and confident communication with excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets using advanced data analytics tools such as Excel or PowerBI.
  • Experience with process mapping using Visio is preferred.
  • Develop high-impact presentations by leveraging expertise to design visually engaging, data-driven presentations using tools such as PowerPoint.
