About the Role

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for handling the day-to-day warehouse operations and activities in a safe and efficient manner. This position will be required to perform a variety of functions that may include picking and filling orders from stock, packing and loading orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with production for timely delivery of required components for work orders
  • Physical put-away of products into locations may require the use of a forklift or other equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, keeping receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, and racks free of hazards or obstructions
  • Maintains accuracy of material inventory and locations, performing cycle counts as needed
  • Assists with performing an annual physical inventory
  • Identify any missing, lost, low stock, or damaged materials/consumables and submit purchase requests as needed
  • Serve as a role model for coworkers and remain actively involved in developing the Formaspace culture
  • Participate in culture crew events and activities associated with building our culture
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of One (1) year warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to learn with input or direction
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required
  • Capable of wearing and inspecting all Personal Protective Equipment for all job assignments

Skills

  • Strong organizational, reading comprehension, material tracking, and counting proficiency
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
