About the Role
STERIS Instrument Processing is seeking a Sterile Services Technician. This entry-level position offers world-class training and a defined career pathway in surgical instrument sterilization and infection prevention.
Responsibilities
- Follow a regulated sterilization/decontamination process on surgical instruments.
- Prepare sterile consumables through decontamination, inspection, assembly, and packing.
- Check, wash, lay up, and pack theatre instrument sets to meet contract specifications.
- Operate and monitor machines and equipment safely and effectively.
- Record and log repairs and missing instruments/equipment on the SynergyTrak system.
- Return repaired instruments or equipment to stock or appropriate coded sets.
Requirements
- Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
- Basic end-user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT systems.
- Knowledge of English is required for communication, training, and meetings.

- £25,272 plus a 5% performance bonus
