About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining trade control processes, including trade booking, validation, maintenance, and reporting. Key responsibilities involve reconciling trades between front office risk systems and back office sub ledgers, and assisting the front office with trade bookings for various derivative products across multiple risk systems. Job expectations include supporting new products and initiatives, and providing analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Supports sales and trading desks
- Assists the front office with trade booking and ensures trades are captured accurately between front office risk systems and back office ledgers
- Develops cross-asset product knowledge by utilizing knowledge of financial instruments accounting
- Partners with existing teams globally to achieve the best in class controls and practices in trade support
- Negotiates delicate decision points around client on-boarding choices
- Creates an inclusive team where members are treated fairly and respectfully
- Demonstrates and expects process knowledge, data driven decisions, simplicity and continuous improvement
- Delivers clear and concise messages that motivate, convey the “why” and connects contributions to business results
- Leads and encourages the identification, escalation and resolution of potential risks
- Knows and develops team members through coaching and feedback
- Manages expenses and demonstrates an owner’s mindset
- Recruits, on-boards and develops talent, and supports talent mobility for career growth
- Delivers results through effective team management, structure, and routines
Requirements
