About the Role

As an Account Executive specializing in Paid Media Buying, Social Analytics, and Generative Impact, you will assist in technical and strategic processes across paid social and digital media activation, social listening, and emerging AI search visibility for leading healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. This role focuses on technical media buying, campaign trafficking, data analytics, social listening, and Ogilvy's proprietary Generative Impact offering, rather than traditional administrative client account management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, launching, trafficking, and managing paid social media campaigns across self-serve ad platforms.
  • Support activation and coordination across digital media channels such as GOOH, Programmatic, Search, Direct Partnership and Sponsorships.
  • Assist in building and implementing compliant audience targeting parameters tailored to healthcare stakeholders.
  • Ensure all paid social assets, ad copy, and targeting parameters comply with brand guidelines, platform policies, and FDA/MLR regulatory requirements.
  • Track, analyze, and measure brand visibility, sentiment, and share of voice across generative AI search engines and LLM platforms.
  • Identify prompt opportunities, content gaps, and source citation trends in AI-generated responses to help optimize healthcare brand discovery.
  • Connect paid social strategy with GEO insights to ensure brand messaging is aligned across both social feeds and AI discovery platforms.
  • Extract performance metrics across paid social campaigns and aggregate data to build analytical reporting decks.
  • Utilize enterprise social listening tools to monitor share of voice, emerging disease-state conversation trends, competitor paid activity, and audience sentiment.
  • Maintain and update client analytics dashboards and reporting templates.
  • Interact directly with clients to answer technical questions regarding paid media execution, social listening findings, platform algorithm updates, and GEO trends.
  • Partner with internal creative, strategy, media planning, and account management teams to optimize creative ad assets based on real-time performance data and social listening insights.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years hands on in paid social media execution, social listening, or marketing analytics, preferably within an advertising agency or healthcare/pharmaceutical environment.
  • Direct experience trafficking campaigns inside self-serve ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.).
  • Hands on experience supporting paid search campaigns in Google Ads, including keyword research, campaign and ad group setup, ad trafficking and quality assurance, negative keyword management, budget pacing, bid and performance optimization, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise social listening/reporting platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, YouScan, NetBase Quid, Google Analytics, advanced Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Strong interest in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini), and prompt monitoring.
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing, MLR review processes, and healthcare privacy/compliance guidelines is highly desirable.
