About the Role
The Lupus Program at The Centre for Prognosis Studies in Rheumatic Diseases (CPSRD) is seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst I to support research, data management, reporting, and database development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing research databases, ensuring data integrity, developing reports, and supporting study teams with data collection and analysis processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain research databases and electronic data capture systems using Oracle and REDCap
- Build and maintain REDCap projects, forms, surveys, data dictionaries, and user access controls
- Maintain and optimize Oracle database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and SQL queries
- Support data capture, validation, quality assurance, and data cleaning activities
- Develop and implement data management plans for research studies and projects
- Monitor data integrity, security, and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements
- Extract, transform, and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting
- Execute administrative tasks in various capacities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year related experience is required
- Proficiency with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Current UHN employees must have successfully completed their probationary period, have a good employee record along with satisfactory attendance in accordance with UHN's attendance management program, to be eligible for consideration
