About the Role
The Make Ready Technician ensures vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status, assists with work orders and exterior projects, and maintains clean grounds by removing litter and debris daily.
Responsibilities
- Remove litter and debris daily from all areas of the property
- Ensure unit is ready to lease within the assigned time frame
- Trash out vacated apartments
- Assist in cleaning and maintenance of storage rooms
- Distribute resident communications as directed
- Check emails to stay abreast property and organization communications
- Provide excellent customer service to all residents
- May be required to work at other Foundation Communities properties in the Austin area as needed
Requirements
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
- Make-ready experience helpful with good understanding of pools, plumbing, electrical
Skills
- Fair housing training and certification for Apartment Maintenance Technician
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
