About the Role
Lead the team that builds DoorDash-created restaurant concepts, including scaling existing Dashmart Kitchens Business and testing new ways to create a portfolio of ultra affordable options for customers. This role involves setting the operating model, building the team, and growing the business from its current footprint into a national offering. It is a high-visibility, entrepreneurial role at the intersection of product, operations, and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale DoorDash-created exclusive restaurant brands.
- Build and develop a team capable of scaling proprietary food concepts nationally.
- Own the operating model and results for a 30-kitchen business.
- Set the testing agenda for the business and scale successful experiments.
- Represent Kitchens & New Models across the US Marketplace org, shaping roadmaps, securing investment, and aligning senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in strategy & operations, consulting, or general management, with a track record of owning a business line, P&L, or major strategic initiative.
- 7+ years of people management experience, including experience managing managers or building a team from the ground up.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives at an organizational level and delivering results against ambitious goals.
- Ability to motivate and align people at every level of the organization.
- Ability to translate ambiguous, high-level goals into concrete execution plans.
- Ability to move fluidly between strategic altitude and operational detail.
- Willingness to get into the weeds and know when to zoom out.
