About the Role
Campari Group is seeking a Brand Ambassador to bring its iconic Aperitifs to life in the UK. This role involves travel across the region to build relationships with trade and consumers, representing the Campari Group Aperitifs Portfolio. The Brand Ambassador will engage the trade, build brand love, and manage the Perfect Serve strategy for key brands. A key responsibility includes leading the Regional Brand Ambassador (RBA) Program to increase Perfect Serve delivery, involving budgetary and people management. The role also entails leading the development and delivery of educational programs, creative drinks sessions, and WSET certifications in collaboration with the Campari Academy & Trade Advocacy Manager. The Brand Ambassador will be the go-to expert on the category for the UK on-trade, driving advocacy, education, and drinks excellence to build brand loyalty and support commercial growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive Advocacy & Education for the Aperitifs Portfolio
- Deliver best-in-class moments to connect brands to the UK On-Trade
- Create, maintain, and evolve Aperitifs training strategy
- Host training types at Campari Academy and in the field
- Assist in ideation and delivery of drinks development sessions for key customers
- Integrate and understand Italian Culture and its connection to Campari Group Aperitifs in the UK
- Deliver 360 Spritz Perfect Serve Program
- Evolve and project manage the Perfect Serve Program across all on-trade channels
- Develop trainings to embed the Perfect Serve mission
- Inspire and upskill Regional Brand Ambassadors (RBAs)
- Create a digital-forward solution to influence and upskill bartenders
- Manage agency relationships for Secret Shopper initiatives
- Manage all budgetary and personnel management related to the Perfect Serve program
- Deliver compliant and inspiring trainings under the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) framework
- Perform administrative tasks as required for WSET
- Undergo relevant training to deliver WSET sessions independently
- Develop a keynote seminar series to increase understanding on the Aperitifs Category
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver highly attended and repurposable content
- Maintain compliance with all legal guidelines surrounding talent and content
- Lead and deliver exceptional hospitality occasions in liaison with the Campari House Guest Experience team
- Maintain compliant and clear workspaces in the Campari Academy
Requirements
- 5 years+ On Trade Bartender / Brand Ambassador experience (UK or Global)
- Experience working with some of the UK’s best bars
- Up to date with latest category/drinks trends
- Strong knowledge of the UK On Trade is preferable
- Well-networked across UK On Trade is desired
- Extensive technical knowledge of the Spirits category/sub-categories and Campari brands
- Experience in managing time and resource across different workstreams
- Experience in leading projects and collaborating cross-functionally
- Experience of developing Category/Brand Training Programmes from inception to presentation
- Sales experience highly regarded
- Must not disclose any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information
