About the Role
Our client, an established and growing international manufacturing organization with its US headquarters in WNY, is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their growing team. The position will have strong mentorship and will focus on compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to join a great company and grow in their career.
Responsibilities
- Ensure UL, CE, ATEX, and IECEx standards are maintained across all product lines with a focus on compliance.
- Act as the subject matter expert, signing certificates of conformance and ensuring electrical compliance.
- Design and maintain electrical systems across various product lines, including vibrating motor systems and centrifuge systems.
- Drive product performance by collaborating with production and mechanical teams for cross-functional alignment and high-quality product delivery.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new electrical projects, designing electrical panels, and providing technical service/production engineering support.
- Offer recommendations to production engineers during the R&D stages of electrical projects.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure internal inventory is maintained.
- Assist with cost estimation and pricing for specific projects.
- Determine if electrical components have become obsolete and provide updates and replacements.
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary.
Requirements
- Experience with drafting and modeling using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organization, analytical, and time management skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Relocation is not available.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
